Candled today and all but 7 of our eggs are showing obvious development. Only 1 of the 7 is obviously not doing anything. Planning to candle again on Tuesday before getting rid of the non-starters.

Does anyone named chicks before they even hatch? ( or am on whole new level of chicken craziness)

My 4 year old has already named one chick Sam... we're on day 7 of the incubation.

I am incubating duck eggs now and hope to have them all hatch in time for Easter.
