My ducks absolutely love grass. This winter, they ate all the grass in my backyard.

I candled 8 eggs today on day 8, 6 are looking good spider veins and movement the other 2 had growth but couldn't see much. I will candle the rest later today

Little update, i Candle fridge eggs today on day 6 . And
One eggs which was 3 DAYS in fridge looks Like quitter other one that was 3 DAYS in fridge developed fine

And is it bad candle eggs everyday ? I must turn them manually so i must touch them anyway( and i do everything turning and candling in 2 min or less.

You can candle them as often as you want!

Be careful to not drop them though....

For all of those having trouble with the refrigerator eggs, I have a very important question. Are you 100% sure you didn’t shake them between the nest, the counter, the sink, the refrigerator, and to the incubator?
Complete turns will cause a bad hatch rate, shaking will, and touching with dirty/lotioned hands will.

I wash hands with intime shower gel so its light then i wait and dry my hands like CRAZY and then am ready

I hand turn too and candle daily (if not twice daily ). Although my current eggs are hard to see into which is frustrating.
