12th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-Along

I'm not trying to take over the thread, but does this hatch-along count if I were to start incubating eggs around Easter time (most likely after)?

You can be part of the hatch-along but the egg would not count for the contests that require hatching close to Easter Sunday.

going to set runner duck eggs and possibly some Brahmacana eggs if my other Brahma starts laying! One of the two girls FINALLY started today at 8 months old, and I’ve got them penned with a lavender aracauna too as I want some green eggs in my basket!

That sounds like an interesting mix.

I am thinking of joining, but it all depends on if I can get some hatching eggs on time. There is someone selling some about 1 hour away from me and I have just messaged them so let's hope their chickens are still laying good Assuming I can get some eggs, this will be my first time hatching chicken eggs. I have hatched turkeys and Muscovy ducks, but I already have too many of them (aka running out of room lol) and they aren't laying yet anyway. I plan on getting the NurtureRight 360 from TSC. I can't wait to hatch some chicks!

I have a soft spot for muscovies, they're quite sweet. I hope you can find some eggs.
