All my eggs came for the Hatch-A-Long!

So I was never able to get the NR360 in time just had to make a big decision: the rest of the coop construction along with the run, or the replacement incubator. I am lucky to at least have 2 semi-good incubators, though, and I have a plan. I timed the buying eggs pretty well because I got my first batch (the ones I got a week early because of a nice deal) all within 2 days, but I didn’t get enough to fill the 56 holders inside the bator, so I can have my 2nd set (for this EHAL) in with my 1st set. They’re just about 3-4 days apart, so for lockdown for the 1st set I’ll just be using my older other incubator for the hatching tray and stuff. I have them all marked which is which.

That is a bit tight for staggered hatching but should work.

Really feeling like I need to build a bigger incubator. Over here having to decide if I wanna set today's egg or save it 9 days. All the while my incubator is just a little guy haha

I have a Silkie broody now, so do you think she will be fine to wait a week till I slip eggs under her for an Easter hatch? She hasn't hatched any before but has been broody many many times haha

Yup! Congratulations! No incubator or brooder to mess with!

X2! It is best to let them wait some time before setting eggs to make sure they are committed to sitting on the eggs

I tossed today's eggs into the Bator seems too early to collect for the 13th. But probably any other eggs dropped will be set for eater hatch. Even if it's tomorrow. But she's been laying every other day and I only have one adult girl. So hopefully I get at least 4 to share with you guys on the special day! So excited!

How’d the shipped NN do hatch wise.

8 days out!! Thought we were doing good waiting for the cold to pass, but then, mail was backed up. Finally got them..set them anyway. I have two that I am watching that look like ..may have started. The guy is sending more out on Monday. He had 5 packages out there lost at the same time as mine. Not his fault, but sending more.
