12th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-Along

I ended up having to set my eggs early so I will not be able to participate in the Easter hatch-a long. My eggs are due to hatch on 3/20 and 3/22. I will still follow along though.

I set 24 barnyard mix eggs. Very excited to see what the chicks look like! Last year we had really low fertility, but there are three more roos out there this year.

I hope all of them hatch!

Wow this chat has exploded since yesterday

So I have set 18 eggs that I got for free from a friend

Sebright
Barred rock bantams
Andalusian
Leghorn
And some possible mutts

Being the end of the season here I'm not expecting a high fertility rate but we'll see.

I collected 25 eggs for a 22-egg incubator. I will candle for cracks and wash them

I would love to participate in this Easter Hatch-Along!
I set today 35 eggs - my 15 shipped bantam silkie eggs which arrived yesterday - and 20 eggs of and for the friend who lends me the incubator, his eggs are from his bantam Brahma x Deutsches Buschhuhn mixes.
