I'm also not sure if they decided to open an egg to see what they would find. Without an eggtopsy it will be even harder to determine.

No other reason is needed.#1 reason I gave in, and got Disney Plus? They have The Princess Bride.
X2! They love it just as muchNo pond required! They just need a water source deep enough to clear their nostrils.
Don't worry, you're not...I do it all the time haha. I even named a few I set for the EHALDoes anyone named chicks before they even hatch? ( or am on whole new level of chicken craziness)
Awww *heart melting again*My neighbor's daughter comes over to see our ducks and chickens, she is 7, and I told her the ducklings in the eggs could hear our voices. She sings to them, and is naming all 17 eggs! So far all have some growth, 1 less than the rest, and I was trying to tell her not to name them, they might not all hatch. Didn't stop her!
I love leghornsWhite, Blue and Cuckoo Leghorns!
But I had a similar problem. Several of mine were in fact fertile, as they had big clear blastoderms, but even on day 8-9 weren't developing, at which point I cracked em open to see. I get the same problem all the time when incubatingI believe that was the one that sounded like the eggs weren't fertilized yet.
