If they all make it its still goodI candled mine on day 7
I wasn't expecting a great success rate because we are right at the end of the season here and most chickens are starting their moult ..... I have 9 from 18 that are growing well.
Guys i need advice, i Will must move my incubator, 1h driveing home.. so is it better take eggs out of incubator beacause in my incubator during driveing they coud Dance Like Jaggerand is it better do it on daY9 or 11 ihave both options.
But they are in incubator laying on side i dont thik its good idea too put them in carton position., Also i planed to put them in in this Like this. Is it good idea?I would definitely put them in something to keep them from rolling around even if that something is still inside the Incubator. Egg cartons.
I agree with putting them in egg cartons, but it also looks like there’s enough room to shove a whole bunch of towels in there. If it’s possible, use egg cartons, but also throw a towel on top inside. It’s better insulation than wrapping the outside of the incubator.

I Will drive and my sister will keep eggs on her ( hopefully she do it fine) she will come with bus day before just to babysitt eggsI've traveled with eggs vertically in eggs cartons that had been under a broody hen prior to me having them. Traveling with incubating eggs obviously is best avoided when possible but your number one goal is to keep them from rolling around and hitting each other. You could try wrapping them individually with paper towels to stack them horizontally as well but keep in mind that with you traveling for that long there could be all sorts of bumps and turns that will jostle the eggs more than you would expect. A seatbelt is better than no seatbelt sort of idea and in this case the egg carton is the seatbelt.
