It is off center, which is weird, and no, it’s not fully sealed around the edges. I mean, there’s no opening into the body cavity from the outside, but it looks like a mouth blowing a bubble out of bubble gum. You can see that the “mouth” is open and the bubble protrudes.
I was wondering if I could tie it off with dental floss or if there are intestines inside it.
Sorry, it’s bum is wet in the photos because it did a dribbly poop all down itself and I washed it all off with wet Q tips.

I definitely wouldn't tie it off. I would hope the chick would continue to absorb this because it's quite a large amount of yolk sac or possible intestines that haven't been absorbed. For the time being, I would continue to wait with the chick in the incubator and the humidity elevated to hope it will absorb more but since quite some time has passed since the last images I'm not feeling super confident it will absorb more.

High temperatures can cause chicks to hatch early with the yolk sac still exposed and the navel is often prematurely closed around the exposed yolk sac but since this is the only chick that hatched like this I'm thinking it may be from something other than temperature. Omphalitis is a possibility, it's from a bacterial infection and sometimes causes this among other symptoms.

My fingers and toes are crossed for this baby! :fl

Hooray! We successfully assisted and he is healthy and wobbling all around our 'bator. :jumpy 😌:wee With a lot of prayer power, this little fella will be with his buddies in the brooder in no time. Thank you guys so much for all the help and info you provided. I really can't thank you enough.
