I hached none.....my incubator exploded on day 15

Yep ...not only this happend ..on Easter one of my beloved roosters were feeling sick... We found out it had cancer ...has a week left....

None of mine hatched. Day 23 here. I hope your hatch goes better! It would be so sad if yours didn’t hatch after all they have been through.

I really hope that you Will get miracle babies who just needed extra timeLast year half of my chiks hatched on day 23/24 and also 25.. so you never know but i thnik after day 25 you can turn of your incubator.. i know its BAD thing to do but if i were you I would candle some eggs just to see if there is any MOVEMENT or internal pip. Last year I acctualy saw on some while candeling internal pip. Wish you luck and thanks

I second candleing. There's no harm in opening the incubator when there aren't even external pips yet.

I euthanize them if they are in pain. Cancer is usually painful and chickens hide their pain. It is a prey response to not show weakness to a predator.

Here are the mystery 7 ducklings. The smaller one in the middle was hatched last and came out all twisted. Couldn't stand so I taped his legs for a day. His splayed legs and crooked neck are much better and he is able to walk around now and is eating and drinking. Just curious how something so adorable can be so messy?!!! Plus I swear I can hear them growing, not sure how long they will be in my Livingroom. Guess on breeds??

This isn't me confessing that I already have more hatching eggs to set in the incubator, BUT, look at these chocolate eggs that they used to fill the two empty spots in the cartons! lol

No idea on breeds but they're adorable! I'm glad you were able to help the little crooked one. Do you supplement with niacin?

I candled but didn’t see any movement. A couple still have veins though, does that mean they are still alive?
