12wk silkies gender

I know that silkies are the hardest to sex. These ones are 12wks old and I was just hoping someone could help me out with trying to determine cockerel or pullet. I have 8 total and have numbered the pictures. Im sorry they aren't the greatest.

I’d say that compared to my silkie cockerels that are around the same age, all are pullets except for #4. Now I could be wrong but no4s Waddles are much larger and it looks like they got streamers. I can’t say for sure on the others but they look like pullets to me. Could be wrong though...

I can only hope because that would make my 10yr old THEE happiest kid ever lol. These are part of a 4-H project and he has been having the worst luck ever. Thank you for responding. Im anxious to see what the next couple months bring

As long as its not the other way around lol with only 2 being pullets, my son will feel like he won the lotto. They are at a really ugly stage right now lol but I'm hoping the next couple months improves their ugly stage lol. Thank you so much

I have several pictures of different cockerels around 12 weeks if you’d like a visual reference. I don’t have a hen reference though, that picture is when she’s several months old.

No, I still think only 2 are males. But females if they have nice crests, are stunning. And the females seem to pass the crests more than males
