12x 12 coop. How did I do?

400

Vents in eaves on other side.

400

Chicken nipples on backside of run, 55 gallon drum.

Looks great I love the color and the scenery, but I would only keep 36 not 46  (a 12 X12 has 144 of indoor area divided by 4 is 25 for the hundred and 11 for the 44 so 36) the maximum capacity of a coop should be stopped at 4 sq. ft. per bird any more(any more birds/any less room) and you end up with feather picking issues

Thanks. I do have a little more space due to the poop board with roost above and can walk below all the nesting boxes.

What is your location...climate?

Outside crescent city near Oregon boarder inland 10 miles. Almost never freezes, mid 80 in summer. 100 inches of rain, property backs up into Jedediah Smith Redwoods.

So on rainy days do they stay in the coop?
I don't see much cover outside the coop.
The poop boards do add a bit of space during confinement, but not that much.

They stay out as long as not raining hard. Covering part of run is next project.

It's a much better coop than many on here.
I would still advise not increasing your population much, if at all...and adding outdoor rain shelter is an excellent idea.
Maybe a ramp to the pop door?

There is a ramp, just fell off. 99% of time the fly up anyways.

Thanks.
