It is our first....and I dont think we really get to claim it as,our own hatch. Another bycer is hatching some eggs for us and we get to pick them up on hatch day. Kids are stoked, I am excited, chick info has been written into the lesson plans and a countdown chain has been made!

13 days to go for us too

8 silkie eggs, 5 are def fertilized...but for some reason, some of them are getting too dark to see movement...gets me worried.

EEeeeeeeeeep! They are here! We picked up 5 little fluff balls this afternoon and they are just the cutest little things ever! We have 3 little chocolate brown ones, a little light yellow fluff ball, and one ameracauna (soooooo butchered the spelling on that!) that is black with little light yellow flecks. I wish I could post pics, but the only internet access I have is via my phone how did everyone elses hatches go?
