13 month old lays small egg

One of my 13 month old hens laid a very small egg this morning. It was fully formed with yolk, white and a good hard shell. It was half the normal size, more like a pullet egg.
Is this normal, or a sign of something wrong?
I've seen no signs of the molt they will be doing this fall/late summer.

Yep, that's normal. Sometimes the egg might not even have a yolk in it.

Thanks, I won't worry about it unless it continues.
I may need to sit her down and explain to her that quality is just as important as quantity.

My RIR laid a very small egg yesterday she’s 1 year old this has never happened before she has always laid very big eggs and no egg today from her

Hello again, when I had posted about my RIR laying the small egg i think 3 days ago she hasn’t laid at all since laying that small egg, is there anything I can do or just wait it out and also the other 3 hens are trying to peck on her comb I got it stopped and I thank you for your help

My RIR did the same layed a very small egg about 3 days ago and she hasn’t laid since then, I got worried when this happened
