Buying three 13 month red stars from local. Birds looks great and free roaming. However, I don't know how well they aged. How much longer will they lay well? I want to keep them at least 2.5 more years. Will they lay a solid 2-3 a day if taken care of?

Welcome to BYC!

Hard, actually impossible, to predict the laying life or weekly production of a bird.
Many variables to consider, first being a good diet and stress free environment.

Red Stars are a high production hybrid, often laying prolifically for 2-3 years then stopping or slowing way down...but only time will tell how well or long those bird will lay for you.

One thing to keep in mind, when a bird is moved into a new environment, they often stop laying for days or weeks or months.

Best of cLuck to you!
