13 Week Mottled Java sex?

I think this one is a dude, but the comb is so pale compared to other roosters of different breeds in my flock. Comb starting coming in around 8-9 weeks.

Might be cockerel, might not. My leghorn mixes are same age an have HUGE pale combs (there pullets). Any rooster behavior? I am going to go with cockerel but i'm no sure.

He seems to be squaring up with the other roosters a bit. Other than that, I don't know.

Java hens do have fairly large combs, but its been fifteen years since I've raised any so I can't remember how quickly the pullets developed theirs. If you don't have any pullets (Mottled Java) to compare the bird to, I would hazard a guess that it is probably a young cockerel.
