Hello, I have a few light Sussex chickens that are around 13-14 weeks old.

There are around 2-3 with a big comb already, also their colour is a bit brighter.

The rest don’t have a big comb/none yet and the colour is a bit more pale.

Are the ones with the bigger combs males? Or could they be females too, as I have heard some females do grow their comb faster than others.

Any other tips or tricks would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

The one with yellow legs (which Light Sussex shouldn't have) and the 2, I think, others with much bigger combs and wattles are cockerels.

Hard to tell from the photos but looks like the one with yellow legs is starting to get some male saddle feathers in too. They should be visible on all three very soon.
