I have 10 13 week old chicks, anytime i come to the coop they all run in circles and act scared. However there is one Buff Op. that will just sit there and look at me, she will sit on your arm/shoulder/head, and isn't fazed by anyone holding her while the other ones freak out. she is very slow to eat almost like she is just lazy, could there be something wrong with her?

Does she look at all "off" in any way? Or just unfazed? It could be character and it could be something wrong, but generally if it's something wrong there's going to be more than just calmness. Doziness, or disinterestedness or something.

I had a Buff like that; cool as a cucumber. She was the best chicken in the world. She made it to a year old and then just keeled over... which I realize doesn't tell you much, does it?

Has she always been this way or is this a new behavior? BOs are sometimes known for a gentle, easy going nature and it may just be that she is living up to that. I have an RIR that prefers to lay down to eat and she will actively knock the feeder over just so she can lay on the ground to eat. It sounds to me like your chicken is just friendly, but more information would help give a better idea.

Now she REALLY sounds like my Buff. When Buffy did that, she wanted CARRIED to the coop.

They're smarter than they look. And manipulative.
