I should have guessed cockerel the last time you posted him. That color coming in on his wings was a dead give away. Cest La Vie....

Yeah I just went back and looked at that pic again. Crazy how the slightest thing was there. Isn't it nuts how some cockerels are obvious right out of the gate (like one of my barnevelders I've been suspect of since the first week) and others like this one hide it for months and then BOOM!
