Thank you for verifying! I gave him to a lady who just messaged me saying that it had laid an egg? Which one, it's a little early for that and two, I was pretty confident it wasn't a pullet.

She's either mistaken or making it up. People can be strange. That is 100% a cockerel without any doubt.
