Duck broody?

I didn't know where to post this because it involved hatching eggs but it was duck behavior so I just chose this. My duck(Welsh Harlequin) has a clutch of 9 eggs so far and today she has been off and on laying on her eggs. She even had her mate sitting with her. I'm just wondering if she is broody or if she is showing early signs of being broody.
