I had a Muscovy hen go broody, and she accidentally incubated some chicken eggs with her duck eggs. I decided to pop them in the incubator because why not.
I’ve got a random assortment of hens with a silkie roo that aren’t my breeding flock. I’ve never hatched any of their eggs before, so I’m not sure how the genetics would work. Would all the chicks be silkied, or just some of them? And has anyone ever hatched any leghorn/mosaic/RIR silkie mixes?
I’ve already had one hatch, it would be a mosaicXsilkie. It has feathered feet but no extra toe. I believe it will be silkied.

Two more hatched. One mosaic/silkie, and one leghorn/silkie. All of the chicks have feathered legs, one doesn’t have any on the toes. They also have the same stripe down the back.
