It's OK to set tomorrow morning instead so that they hatch on Easter itself, right?

My husband is concerned about the 16yo's ability to cope if anything goes wrong with hatching on the last day as we're traveling home on Easter Saturday.

What type of water do you use in the incubator? (for humidity)

I have bottled spring water, tap water, or refrigerator water. I don't have any distilled on hand, though.

I think its 2 days before and 2 days after? 5 day window total.

Today is the day!! To set the chicken eggs!!
I dropped the egg carton as I was driving to my friend's house and one egg cracked so instead of a dozen it will only be 11.
3 white
3 olive green
5 brown

They'll be barnyard mixes.
The eggs haven't been set yet and I’m already wondering how many will be boys.

Put my eggs in the NR360 a little more than a half hour ago, filled it to the max. The temp got down to 85 or so, and was just beeping at me for low temp, sitting at about 94, this much later. Bad, or just the incubator adjusting to cooler eggs?
