Yep, the large cabinet model. Someone helpfully “rearranged” the heat baffles in it… cooked the entire top rack.![]()

Update: my pullets from this hatch are laying! I kept one cockerel and three pullets, and gave the second cockerel to a friend. The two darkest eggs below are from my new layers, Millie Bob and Plumette. They are a shade darker than my other marans eggs. Not sure if their EE barnyard mix sister, Bernice, is laying yet. If she is, her eggs are either brown or they aren't different enough from my other EEs to be distinguishable.Here's mine outside for their first time. We ended up with one barnyard mix EE, and 4 black copper marans. Not a great hatch rate (I originally set 16 eggs). Shipped eggs, potentially a little old, because the seller took forever to fill my order. I think the incubator ran a little uneven in temperature. But I'm happy with what I got.
