14 week old mystery chicken?

So I got it at a few weeks old as a silver laced wyandotte. Its obviously not that. So not sure on breed. Can anyone tell if its a pullet or roo? I've been thinking roo just cause waddles/comb came in super early, legs are thicker than the other 2 its age. But it hasnt crowed yet. My Silkie and Cochin roos started crowing super early at 8 to 9 weeks. so it makes me question it being a roo. Any ideas on breed are surely welcome too!!

Probably a mixed breed, not sure on gender. Did you get it from a hatchery?

How long have the comb and wattles been red? Not seeing any obvious male specific feathering, but it's still a bit young for those feathers to be really visible. Definitely a mixed breed.

They've only gotten this red and big in the last month. Here is a pic of him on June 18th. So quite a bit of development in the last month.

I agree. I was just hoping everyone else would disagree I've grown quite fond of Petunia/Petey, but if its a Petey, he has to find a new home!

Cockerel. Jun. 18 he was just 5 weeks old, which is pretty young to be showing a red comb, even for a fast to develop cockerel.
If it's been that red since 10 weeks of age, definitely a boy.
