I say roo as well...but he sure is VERY cute! Love that little top hat with the cheek fur and beard together...so adorable! I would love to see a hen in that breed

i'm casting my vote with cockerel, also. The wispy back-flowing crest feathers, and then how the tail is high and swept back with pointy feathers, looks definitely roo-ish. And then, that menacing glare in the first picture - you only get that from a rooster (or a broody hen).

That comb looks very rooish too. I have 2 of these crosses that are girls...they're grown and still have essentially non-existant combs.
