Hello,
I have six young pullets, 16 weeks old now, but they've been losing feathers for two weeks it seems. There's feather everywhere! I could probably stuff a pillow.

They're healthy, active and have access to food during the day time but I thought that chicks didn't actually moult until their first year. Are they missing something nutritionally?

There's not any actual bare spots on their little bodies.

This is a good question...I would love to know the answer too. I have 4 WCBP 20 week olds that are not laying yet and they seem to be molting too. There are feathers all over the coop and the run, but nobody is bald!

same thing here!! I just made a post about this. None of my girls are laying- there are feathers all over, but they are all 5-7 months old, and they all look normal...
