I have the 14 week olds and the 1 yr old hens together now. The hens won't touch their organic adult feed anymore with start and grow in there. I have oyster shell out but have gotten a few soft shells lately.

Can and should I switch to flock raiser?

That would be MY suggestion, with the oyster shell left out free choice. (I keep an empty tuna can nailed to the inside coop wall, with oyster shell in it all the time.)

I have four, 12 week olds, nine 9 month olds, two 16 month olds, four 17 week olds, and am about to put out four 8 week olds.

Oh, and one of those 9 month olds has a 1 week old chick, so I do need to keep some chick start around for the GrandChick.
