So I got first mail ordered eggs and what a disappointment. Out of 8 tolbunt polish eggs I have one that made it. All the rest the air cells were ruined. I'm glad I added 2 silkie eggs. Here's a picture of the tolbunt egg. Anyone else due the end of the month?

I've got two broodies right now, a Red Star and a Silkie. They just started setting a few days ago. I'm so excited! I just bought some Russian Orloff eggs to put under my silkie and I've never heard of a Red Star going broody before!

I have one that's been trying to go broody for about 2wks now. I'm debating on just letting her have some babies of her own. I'm not sure how she would be with them. Best of luck to yours.

I still have my broody silkie, but a predator came and ate all of my Red Star's eggs and she broke-up.

Ohhh no I'm sorry!!! We had this happen Too many times here. Our chickens are all now and runs its like Fort Knox back there lol I hope your silky gets a good turnout.
