No luck in Alberta. There is a small breeder 13 hours away in manitoba, but he would need to collect for a week to get maybe a dozen, then shipping puts them at risk for poor hatch... Are you looking for them or offering them by chance?

I have looked for years for a Silver Pencil Wyandotte. There is a breeder in Ohio but they have one excuse after another on why I couldn't purchase a pair, or eggs. 1. The rooster isn't with the hens any longer, 2. The hens aren't laying many eggs any more. 3. No they will not ship day old chicks. 4. any extra they have go to the 4H boys and girls for shows and then they sell them....well could they share my name? well they all sell at shows.

The breed is definitely out there. We just need to find it!! Maybe these people just don't like Californians? I was within hours of their city and asked if I could arrange a pick up of old hens or roosters - no response.
