My first sunflower blooming
I may have posted too many but I had to brag. It was so hot in Texas Last year that even the wild sunflowers didn't grow. So thankful some are growing!

I wish some of ours would hurry up and grow.

These are container sunflowers and they usually start blooming early.

I got the chance to pick some wild daisies and fire pink the other day for a Memorial Day wildflower bouquet to put on some graves. To me it looks like a field of daisies with fireworks overhead.
