This is my first born. He/she had an accident a week before hatching so in sheer panic I taped my baby up. This picture was the most beautiful sight when I thought I lost her. I call him/her Lucky and Lucky is now 3 weeks old and thriving.

How did that happen? I am amazed that she still made it with a taped up shell . Shows you how strong a chicks actually is.

Hi!

I’d love to join this fun contest! 🐣
I uploaded a photo already but I don’t think I put it in the right spot.

Here is a photo of an abandoned Muscovy duckling that I incubated with the help of this wonderful group!❤️
She was born premature with her yolk sac not absorbed.
I had to make her a tiny bed, hand feed her and give her 24/7 love and care.
She is now happy and healthy and seems to still be imprinted with me!
Thank you to all who walked me through my first time with ducklings, you taught me how to save her life. ❤️
