Ended 14th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-Along—National Poultry Day

Poultry is important to me because every time I go to the coop, I am filled with joy and peacefulness. I thank chickens for providing us with millions of eggs each day.

Everyday is poultry day (at least for my selfish ducks )...jk

My favorite part of keeping poultry is how there's always something new to look forward to (waiting for them to hatch, grow out their feathers, going to the coop, their first eggs, etc). Through every excruciatingly long second, they're still great to have around, and by the time the next spring comes around, its so exciting to plan out what additions to make.

WAIT CORBDEE???!

My hubby never thought in a million years he'd be living in the country and raising chickens. He now enjoys them as much as I do and calls them "decorative moving yard ornaments." They bring us so much enjoyment. It isn't about the eggs, but they sure are a nice bonus!
