15 week old EE started practice egg song

late this afternoon one of my almost 16 week old EE started doing a practice egg song, at the same time one of my laying hens in a sepetate coop was laying and singing the egg song. Is this normal for this young or is it just playing parrot and copying what it was hearing?

As you may know, EEs are late layers, so 16 weeks old would be super early for her to lay. I have had younger chickens 'celebrate' older hens egg accomplishments by singing. So yes, she's just copying the older birds.

I have raised EEs three times over the years. 16 weeks is young, however all mine all laid at 19-20 weeks & have been some of the best layers.
