My 15 week old Rhode Island Red is limping, laying down a lot and her hip looks funny and foot is slightly turned in. She is hesitant to run around the yard with her sisters. She will still fly up to the roost bars and down from them. She will fly up on to my garden beds and steal a treat from the garden as well. Just seems to be walking funny and favoring her right leg. Please let me know what you all think. Video attached

I have a pullet of another breed that has a food turned in a lot and she somehow gets around a lot. I will not set eggs from her as I think that this is a genetic defect because of the size of the gene pool the breed has here in the states. I suppose this might can happen with any breed from inbreeding that happens from time to time. I hope all goes well for your lady and wish I had a factual answer for you. You have posted in the right place for the best help here.

My pullet behaves just as you have described.
