Hello again,

I had a bit of bad luck raising day old chicks. Ended up with 2/8 pullets and returned the boys and got a few “guaranteed girl” replacements.

Is it just me or are these two looking more like cockerels than pullets? They are around 5/6 weeks.

The stance and temperament (and maybe combs) have me worried I’ve got more boys They’re flightier than the others and like to spar/fight…

jury's still out for me; I've been fooled too many times by chicks! some are obvious at 3 weeks, but others hide their gender till they're 3 months old... what breed are they?

They are Platinum Sussex and Buff Sussex. They seem so much flightier than my others, who seem happy to potter about slowly.
