I'm testing my incubator to make sure it works. The incubator is quite obvious, the fan makes noise and the light turns on. Unfortunately, I don't hear anything from the turner. I cannot remember if it's supposed to make noise or not. Anyone else know?

Well, it's official. The turner isn't working. What do I do now? How do I figure out what is wrong with it and how to fix it?
*ETA* - I know that I can just manually move the turner, but I just want to fix it, period. I don't want to jerry-rig anything.

Mine came with a defective motor, so I called GQF and got a new one sent. You could try calling them, I would suspect the motor.

Make sure the rack is connected in the back on the left hand side to your motor. There should be a plastic clip that slips into it. I hope I explained it enough.

Yup, everything is connected. It is definately in the motor, as it's not hot like it was the last time I ran it (when it was working). I'll contact them and see what they say.

This may be a stupid question, but...is it plugged in to a working outlet?

Not a stupid question at all. The guys tested the outlet (both plugs in it), plus I plugged the incubator into both plugs (it lights up). This was the first thing I tested, since some of our outlets are disfunctional.
