1588 wont heat up

Follow the wiring. Find each strand and make sure it is still in contact with it's contacts. It's possible you bumped something lose on accident while cleaning thus no light and no heat. I think you have an open circuit on your hands.

I do appreciate everyone trying to help. I check the wires but none seem loose. The power supply plugs directly into the tstat then wires run to the fan. The fan is on and running, just no heat from the tstat. It is still under warranty i only had it a month or less so im hoping I dont have trouble with replacing it. Anyone delt with gqf customer service before?

Just thought id come back and add that i let it run all nite and nothing. I unplugged it at 4am this morning when I got up for work. I just plugged it back up and after several minutes the red light is now back on. Ill let it run a week off and on to make sure its gonna function properly before I risk buying any hatching eggs. Dont know what the deal was. All I did was unplug it and just now plugged it back up. Could there have been moisture in the Tstat from cleaning it that effected it till it dried out? I also just retoggled 1/2 the switchese and left number 4 on again. Hopefuly it resets itself to 99.5 100.5 like it was running previously. This is a relief to have it working again.

To me that sounds like a short or something. I would be leery of trusting eggs in it . If its new can you send it back for a new one?

QGF said I could return it and they would fix it. However I just found out my wife threw away my reciept just last nite. I didnt purchase it from them directly. Im waitin on a reply about that.

I mailed a check to cutler supply, im sure i can get a copy of reciept from them if it comes to that. Those people there have been extremely nice and have earned my repeat buisness should i have futher needs. I will let it run a week off and on to make sure its working right now as a fluke, other wise if i have any doubts it will go back. There are several reseasons that could of caused it not to operate and im leaning towards water in the tstat. Or possible the toggle switch being lose and after retoggling i reset it somehow. Keeping my fingers crossed.
