I recently brought in recessive white Muscovy. They are young. One male is possibly developing angel wing. I am trying to be proactive. If both boys develop angel wing, I am considering using a quality solid colored drake. The only one I have that is not split to another color is a silver. AI 🤣 tells me silver, in this instance, is sexlinked and males will hatch out silver carrying white, while females will hatch out white. Is this true? I am skeptical. Or am I looking at the possibility of some white and some blue? I know chocolate is sexlinked. Silver is double dilution.

This thread might be helpful, especially post #5 that has a breeding chart link.

Thank you. The link will not work for some reason. I am familiar with how to get silver. The fact that AI is telling me it is sexlinked, I am having a hard time believing. I am more so wanting information on recessive white though.
