Thank you for finding that, I just got through reading. I will definitely reach out, I’m curious to see if they have bred theirs yet and what the result was. Who knows maybe a crazy eyed Muscovy line could be establishedI found a post from earlier this year where someone else has a muscovy with heterochromia in case youre interested in reaching out to them.

I would definitely need some of those eggs for hatching if you did establish one!Thank you for finding that, I just got through reading. Nice ducks! Yes, it’s very interesting. I’ve been looking out for ducklings with the heterochromia but so far I’ve not seen it passed on. I’m sure it’s inheritable but I have no idea how it worksI have a heterochromatic duck this year as well! My flock has had all brown eyes, mixed feather colors mostly black, pied, and lavender with lots of barred. Last year I hatched a blue eyed cream duck, with no idea where thy blue eyes came from! This year I have 2 babies with blue eyes, both pied, one with both eyes blue and one with one brown eye and one heterochromatic eye. It's wild! Curious on the genetics behind it all.
