So I've got nice 1/2x1/2 hardware cloth for the lower portion of the run. However I know I'm not going to have enough material to cover the entire run, and that stuff is expensive!
Saw a local store as 150' rolls of 17 gauge (heavier than the hardware cloth I've got... which is 19ga or 20ga) galvanized 'stucco netting'. Has 1.5" openings. Large enough for a racoon to get it's paw through, but strong enough to not be torn apart. Looks just like chicken wire, only stronger.
Anyone use this on their run? I would only be using it in the upper areas, not at ground level. Hoping to start at 5ft above ground with this stuff, work up, and cover the roof.
