17 week silkies

I’ve just picked up these two on Monday. We are thinking possibly one cockerel and one pullet. Anybody have for sure thoughts? The first picture I believe is a cockerel. The second picture I believe MIGHT be a pullet. Idk

From what I can see in your photos the first one does look like a male and the second one does look like a female. Would be good to have close-ups of the comb, head on photos, to be sure.
boys will usually start crowing right around four months of age.
Beautiful birds! I have a pair of white Silkies as well!

Thinking both girls now as well with the new photos, but the second photo is making me wonder just a little. Most silkies start crowing around 4 months, so if you have not heard any crowing you are likely in the posession of two beautiful pullets!

I think I see streamers developing on one of them, I couldn’t get a picture of it. I did get a picture of this one though, are we still thinking pullet? It has a straight black comb.
