I have not developed an eye for those well yet on solid colored birds well. A great needed skill in owning chickens for sure. There is make specific saddle feathers visible on Eleven. Pullets do not grow those.
My goodness my phone had fun with that one. I fixed it.I have not developed an eye for those well yet on solid colored birds well. A great needed skill in owning chickens for sure.
They are beautiful birdsI can’t be convinced about 11 being a roo but I’m still a newbie to all this sexing thing. I’m basing this on my Orpington knowledge only. I only have black pullet knowledge also. My girls are older and they are much larger but have lavender in them also yet they did not look near as mature as Buffy at 17 weeks in the face. They resembled 11 more and that makes me think she is a pullet.
