I have two chicks. 18 days old. They are chirping, pooping, eating and drinking. Tonight I noticed that their chest looks really large on one side. (Both of them). I’m new to this. What could it be? They are eating medicated crumble and I did add some grit in the pen. They have sand in there that they bath in. I’m using shavings. They are in a large play pen They have food, water, shavings, sand and the brooder. It is soft to the touch. I did not push hard but I felt it and its soft to the touch. What should I do?? I’m kind of freaking out. I hatched them myself from a friends flock. They are salmon Favorelles if that matters. I need all the advice. THanks in advance!!!

I would guess it is on the right side and that it is their very full crops.
Thank you so much!!! It might seem silly but being in the medical field it scared the mess out of me. I was thinking cyst, boil. I checked on them those morning and it was gone! Thanks so much!!!
