18 week old Black Australorps - pullets, right???

I say pullet. I have a black Australorp Roo who I've know from 6 weeks old was male. He has a bigger comb and huge sickle feathers. He stands much taller than my girls. He's about the same age as you Ladies there. I can post a picture of him when I get home, if it would make you feel any better. Lol

I'll try to get a good picture of him when I get him. He doesn't always cooperate! Lol I have older pictures of him but his sickle feathers came in and he's looking quite handsome. If I do say so myself. Lol

Thank you! He was a surprise...lol he was supposed to be a sapphire gem and came out of the pullet bin. So double surprise. Lol so far he's lovely and comes to greet me at the fence with a crow. Hopefully he stays that way.

Here is my surprise. He was supposed to be a Prairie Bluebell pullet lol! I never particularly wanted a Barred Rock rooster but he sure is turning out to be quite the catch.

He is a handsome fella! I was disappointed at first at 6 weeks when Stormy started crowing and panicked a little. But he's been great and fun. Is it weird that Stormy crows back when you call his name? Lol he's kind of a funny dude

He sounds like a character. Love it.
