You still have a bit before they lay. Even my production birds didnt lay until past 20 weeks.

The breeds that you have are not extremely early layers. They may be closer to 24 weeks old before you get eggs.

So I'm not sure what the latest age is okay for the chickens to start laying.

My first layed at 20 weeks! Depends on the breed; some breeds can take 7 months others lay at 16 weeks! What is the breed?

So I have Australorps 3 barred rocks 2 and 2 SLW silver laced wyandottes

You should expect eggs soon from the barred rocks! They lay from 16-20 weeks! But dont be worried because mine hasent laid yet and shes 19 weeks! Every chicken lays in her own time

Average age for onset of lay for most breeds is 18-28 weeks.
Some will start earlier, some later.
It more about the individual bird than the breed.
Diet and time of year can have an affect.
