19 and a half weeks old and still no eggs :( egg countdown anyone??

These are the first 2 we got. The one with the calcium we didn't eat. However, the other one was the best egg me and my youngest ever ate! They are getting bigger and darker in color too,

Why didn't you eat the one with the calcium buildup? It's 100% edible...

B/C I knew it had been there overnight. It's been 100 every day here. I've eaten or used the other 6. :)

8 Buff Orpington girls and 9 Barred Rock girls, born around March 23, 2012 are 19 weeks old and no eggs. I don't quite expect them yet, though I know it CAN happen....admittedly I check for eggs all the time, though.

You're getting close!!!

I also have a 19 1/2 week old Australorp that hasn't laid yet along with a 15 1/2 week old Buff Orpington and an Ameracauna. Those fresh eggs sure would be nice to have for breakfast in the morning. Our day will come when it's time.
