19 Ducks

Hello,
My sister lives on a farm with a pond and a secure shelter for her 19 ducks. They all are 1+ years old. Lived there all their lives. She bought a bigger farm with a pond and shelter about 5 miles away. We’re worried about the ducks, going back to there first home. Any advice to get them to stay at the new farm?

Are they mallards?

Most of them are mallards but she also has pekin ducks. She lives in Central NY, if that helps?

my guess is if the Mallards are fattened up enough that they cannot fly very far it will not be a problem. The Pekins cannot go anywhere and the Mallards will tend to stay with the ones they have been raised with.
