I wouldnt be worried. Those first few weeks can give some wonky eggs. Make sure shes getting enough calcium. Congrats on your first egg.Look what happened today! Should I be concerned about the elongated shape?

I have noticed double yolks happen often with a backyard flock. These 2 were my some of my many double yolks.It was a double yolk...Good luck I hear!
Dust Bath. You can put a gholfball in a nest, it makes them "click".I don't think that last link worked. Try this.
That's good!Our 19 week old rooster (born on the same day) is also starting to mount these two hens but seems to be leaving the others alone.
Some cockerels are 'better' than others....it's rare but they can wait until pullets are ready.The cockerel mounting them means nothing in regards to egg laying.
