Arthur B. Frost was an artist who illustrated for Mark Twain, Lewis Carroll, and J. C. Harris (Uncle Remus). Even though he never appeared in newspaper comic strips, he was a pioneer in cartooning. Here are the last four panels of a short story he wrote and illustrated .... about a hapless dog always in trouble.
