I was at the store, shopping with my daughter, and said "OMG are those STIRRUP PANTS???" And they were...I about fell over!!! I remember wearing those in...ummm...6th grade maybe? And the skinny jeans, and the leggings under skirts or with long shirts...all 80's styles.

I graduated in '80 and I wish I could fit into my Chic jeans, Hawaiian shirt and Candies!

What are "Chucks" ? Never heard of them.

Chucks = Converse tennis shoes...remember people used to buy them in several colors, and then wear one of each color? I had a friend that used to wear one pink and one yellow

I LOVE my chucks! I remember when I was in grade, some dumb girl said told me I was wearing girl shoes(chucks), and now almost everyone is wearing them now that we are all teens.

Awww the 80s! I graduated in 1988!

I had the big (huge) hair, leg warmers and stir up pants. The earrings that came down to my belly button, jelly shoes! Oh and the skin tight jeans that came just above the ankle, some had zippers or just a slit there, I had one pair that had lace trim around the ankle! Now that I think about it that slit was there so we could get the darn things off!

I saw my 14 year old niece in July, she is from NM and always wears the latest fashions. She was so excited to tell me about all the col things she had gotten for school. I couldn't help but giggle.

I had that,m and that, yep that too! Just think retro is cool too, if we would have saved all of that we could be making a fortune off of our kids friends!

Just wait- next up is the re-emergence of Lee Riders, swiftly followed by doubled up Polos w/ the collar up- Are we going to see an abundance of Oxfords with sweater vests? Argyle? How about Penny Loafers?

Soooo, in a couple of years will the Grunge scene be back? I'll be too old to pull off my favorite, shredded pair of 501's...my cycle boots got totaled in the house fire...I don't have my biker jacket, either.

I should buy Penny Loafers fo my kids so they're ahead of the trend- you know it's coming!!!
